Overview

The Glory of Walküre (ワルキューレの栄光 Walküre no Eikō) is a 2D (Concept) side-scrolling action-platformer developed for feature phones by Bandai Namco Entertainment (Company) (at the time, still known as Namco Bandai). It was released on feature phones on June 1, 2007 and received a port toAndroid (Platform) in 2012. Both versions remained exclusive to Japan. Players control the eponymous Walküre (Valkyrie) as she investigates the disappearance of several gods and the rise ofdemonic forces. After she is stung by a large scorpion named Dokusas G and her friend, the Sandra (Concept) known as Whirlo (Character), must find an antidote, with control switching to him for the mission. The game received a sequel which remained on feature phone, The Glory of Walküre 2 (ワルキューレの栄光 2 Walküre no Eikō 2). This changed the gameplay to a top-down RPG reminiscent of other games in the series.
