The Mansion of Hidden Souls, not to be confused with the game's predecessor, and known in Japan as Shinsetsu Yumemi Yakata: Tobira no Oku ni Dareka Ga... ("True Story of the Dream Mansion: There is Someone Behind The Door..."), is a horror-themed first-person adventure game developed by System Sacom and published by Sega for the Sega Saturn in Japan on December 2, 1994 and overseas in November 1995. A sequel to the Sega CD game of the same name, The Mansion of Hidden Souls puts players in the role of Jun, who is summoned back to the titular mansion by its Elder after a premonition involving a blood-red moon. Together with fellow resident Mike, Jun must investigate the mansion, converse with its inhabitants, and try to unveil its dark side.
