Overview

The Ren & Stimpy Show: Stimpy's Invention is a platformer game based on Nickelodeon's The Ren andamp;amp;amp; Stimpy Show that was exclusive to the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive and released in late 1993. Ren and Stimpy (Character) must reclaim all the pieces of Stimpy's invention, the Mutate-O-Matic, which got scattered across the neighborhood after it exploded. The game is a 2D (Concept) side-scroller that allows two-person cooperative gameplay. The game is a run-of-the-mill side-scroller with everyone's favorite two animated idiots at the helm. The game offers the basic shambling enemies and environmental hazards. The game also offers a few special moves such as Stimpy's ability to hurl Ren which can be useful when attempting traverse pitfalls and wide gaps. Ren is able to pull off Stimpy's nose and use it as a projectile.
