Thrill Drive 3 is an over-the-top street racing game developed and released by Konami for arcades (using PS2-based "Python" hardware) in 2005. The third installment of the Thrill Drive (Franchise) series of reckless racing games, Thrill Drive 3 builds on its 2001 predecessor with a new series of courses (with multiple weather and time-of-day conditions), an updated collision system, and an updated penalty system (where players are now charged for other traffic violations). The game is also known for its dedicated two-player arcade cabinet which not only allows for multiplayer races, but also has wearable seat belts that jolt when the player crashes (with penalties for failing to wear it). Like the rest of the series, it did not receive a home release. It was later succeeded by Crazy Streets: Thrill Drive.
