Overview

Tokyo Xtreme Racer Drift, known in Japan as Kaido Battle: Nikko, Haruna, Rokko, Hakone is a touge racing game developed by Genki Racing Project and published by Genki for the PlayStation 2 in Japan on February 26, 2004, with a European release published by Konami on November 18, 2005. A spin-off of the mainline Tokyo Xtreme Racer series, Drift switches the focus from highway racing to drifting-heavy touge racing. It later received two sequels: Kaido Battle 2: Chain Reaction and Kaido Battle: Touge no Densetsu, the latter of which was released in North America as Tokyo Xtreme Racer Drift 2. While this game was not released in Europe, both of its sequels were released there under the Kaido Racer name.
