Overview

Yetisports: Arctic Adventures is a mini-game collection developed by Pirate Games (Company), under license from Edelweiss Mediawerskt.at, and published by JoWooD Productions for the PlayStation 2 (Platform), Xbox (Platform), and PC (Platform) exclusively in Europe on June 18, 2005. Based on the Yetisports (Franchise) series of simplistic browser-based games, Arctic Adventures features over seven 3D mini-games, usually involving a Yeti launching penguins (Pingu) into flight. The PS2 version can make use of the EyeToy camera accessory, while the Xbox version makes use of Xbox Live (Concept) for online leaderboards.

Game List

Baseball - As the Yeti, first swing the club at the Pingu launching from a hole on the ice. On a successful hit, then guide the Pingu around the environment, earning score based on distance traveled and score bonuses.
Free Flight - As an albatross, navigate around the environment while flying through a series of rings.
Pingu Flight - As the Yeti, use a see-saw to launch the Pingu up to albatrosses. On a successful catch, then flap the albatross around the environment before it drops the Pingu, earning score based on distance traveled (with their stamina regained by collecting white feathers), score bonuses, and whether or not the Pingu is dropped onto one of several targets.
Snowboarding - As the Yeti, board down the mountain while collecting the Pingu's and score bonuses. On reaching the bottom, then use him to throw the collected Pingu's one-at-a-time at target statues for score.
Pingu Golf - As the Yeti, swing at the Pingu with his club (like a golf club), then maneuver the Pingu around the course, earning score based on distance traveled, score bonuses, and whether or not the Pingu ends up in one of several holes.
Half Pipe Racing - As the Yeti, throw the Pingu towards a half-pipe course, then maneuver the Pingu through the course, maintaining speed and time while collecting score bonuses.
Pingu Darts - As the Yeti, hurl a snowball at a launched Pingu to stick it to the target board, with the score based on where they land. Each round has three total launched Pingu.
Pingu Tennis - Exclusive to the PS2 version and requires the EyeToy.
4 Square Challenge - A bonus mini-game.
