Yetisports Deluxe, known in-game simply as Yetisports, is a physics-based mini-game collection developed by Similis, under license from Edelweiss Mediawerskt.at, and published by JoWood Productions for the PC (Platform) exclusively in Europe on June 4, 2004, with a PlayStation (Platform) conversion released on November 12, 2004. Designed as a retail release of the online Flash-based game series Yetisports (Franchise), Yetisports Deluxe includes special versions of the first two entries (Pingu Throw and Orca Slap), each with updated graphics, new gameplay mechanics, hotseat multiplayer (for up to four players), local leaderboards, and a bonus alternate game mode. It later received an updated sequel, known as Yetisports World Tour (Game).
Based on the series' first entry, both Pingu Throw games have players attempting to knock the Pingu forward in flight, by having the Yeti smack it upward with a club. Unlike the original game, which has unlimited play, this version has a limited amount of attempts before the game ends and the final score is tallied up.
Based on the series' second entry, both Orca Slap games have players attempting to launch 10 Pingus into a target on the snowy wall by having them launch off an orca's tail one-at-a-time and having Yeti throw a snowball at them at the right time, with the direction based on where the Pingu is hit and their rotation. Unlike the original game, these versions include new targets with special mechanics.
