The most noteable battle to take place on Klendathu is the famous outpost fight. This fight, a hold out defense again hundreds of bugs was the demo level for the Starship Troopers Video Game. Most people believe that Klendathu is the Bug home planet, however at no point in the fiction has this been stated.
