F/A-18E/F Super Hornet
OBJECT
The F/A-18E/F Super Hornet is an American-made fighter jet which was introduced into service in the late 1990s.

The Super Hornet was designed as a low cost derivative of the F/A-18C/D Hornet to replace to aging F-14 Tomcat. Though it shares a similar design to the Hornet, the Super Hornet is considered an entirely new aircraft. The Super Hornet is 20% larger than "legacy" Hornets, with two additional weapon hardpoints and a larger internal fuel capacity. It can be distinguished from the Hornet by its rectangular air intakes, as opposed to the oval ones found on the C/D models. The EA-18G Growler is an electronic warfare version of the F/A-18F.
