Biography
Chris Rock was born in South Carolina, but his parents soon moved to Brooklyn, New York. He was raised in a lower middle-class family. Although he had released a comedy album, Chris first achieved fame with his success on the sketch-comedy show Saturday Night Live in the mid-90s. He got his first cable special on HBO in 1997, which proved to be a great success. Chris continues to entertain millions today through his comdey tours, movies, albums, and a TV show called "Everybody Hates Chris" which is inspired by his childhood.
