Ed Allard
Edward Allard is a programer and game designer
Ed is the brother of the infamous "J" Allard of Xbox (Object) trade show fame. Ed initially worked as an engineer for Silicon Graphics and a sound designer for TiVo. In 2000, he founded the game company Escape Factory. Following that, Allard co-founded Sprout Games where he worked at Creative director. At Sprout, he designed and developed Feeding Frenzy. In 2005, Popcap acquired Sprout Games and Allard became their VP of Strategic Development. According to his corporate bio, Allard's focus at Popcap was to "[extend] the reach and appeal of PopCap's world-class IP through console adaptations, handheld devices, expansion packs and new business models." In April 2011, he announced 4th and Battery, a Popcap offshoot studio that will focus on more experimental titles from PopCap.
