Franz Kafka
Franz Kafka (1883-1924) was a german speaking writer. His work was so outstanding that the atmosphere of his stories even coined a new adjective: kafkaesque. Not only did he influence a lot of writers but also many game designers., e.g. the Resident Evil (Franchise) series has a lot of references to Kafka and the game Bad Mojo (Game) is based on his novel "The Metamorphosis".
