Former game designer for Nintendo (Company) and for a time the right hand man to Shigeru Miyamoto (Person). Former head of now-defunct developer Saru Brunei (Company). Also notable for his prison diaries, published after a six month stint in a Japanese prison in 1994-1995 for traffic violations. Matsumoto claims his time in prison had a positive and formative effect on his life. After the dissolution of Saru Brunei (Company), Matsuomoto founded a digital self-publishing service called BCCKS Inc.
