John Ricciardi used to write the Big in Japan section for Nintendo Official Magazine in the UK, before it became Official Nintendo Magazine. Ricciardi also served for a time as editor for EGM before moving to Japan in order to make a lot of questionable purchases (as evidenced by his 1-up blog). He currently works at 8-4, Ltd, an independent video game localization company based in Shibuya, Japan.
