Marty Turco is a professional ice hockey goaltender who in 11 seasons has played for the Dallas Stars, the Chicago Blackhawks, and the Bostaon Bruins. As cover athlete for NHL 2K6, he helped make substantial revisions to the goalkeeping system in the 2K series of games.
Marty Turco is a former goaltender of the National Hockey League most well known for his unorthodox puck-handling prowess. He spent nine of his eleven seasons with the Dallas Stars where he recorded numerous franchise records including, most wins, most shutouts, most assists by a goaltender, and most games played. He has made five playoff appearances and played for the 2006 Canadian Olympic team. Turco has also appeared on the NHL Network as an in studio analyst during the 2011 playoffs.
