Overview
Mike attended the Alberta College of Art and Design where he received a degree in visual communications. After his education he was hired by BioWare (Company) when it was just starting out and he played a major role in creating the critically acclaimed Shattered Steel (Game). Mike quickly became a top worker at BioWare (Company) and moved onto the marketing side of games, creating marketing artwork.
Departure from BioWare
After 12 years of work, Mike left BioWare (Company) and decided to become an independent/freelance artist, he can often be seen on Edmonton's White Avenue painting and selling his work.
