Olivier Derivière was born in 1970 and studied musical composition and orchestration at the Nice Conservatoire, in France.
Olivier Derivière is a composer and music director who has most recently created the soundtrack for Alone in the Dark (2008). The Alone in the Dark soundtrack was a unique and cinematic addition to the game and used a strong choral element supplied by the Mystery of Bulgarian Voices Choir. In the past, Olivier Derivière has also created the soundtracks for Obscure (Game) and Obscure 2: The Aftermath.
