A designer and musician, best known as a member of the rock band Sadistic Mika Band and the pioneering electronica band Yellow Magic Orchestra.
Yukihiro Takahashi (born June 6, 1952) is a Japanese musician, who is best known as the drummer and lead vocalist of the pioneering electronica band Yellow Magic Orchestra (alongside Haruomi Hosono (Person) and Ryuichi Sakamoto (Person)), and as the former drummer of the rock band Sadistic Mika Band. He has also composed music for anime, while his work with Yellow Magic Orchestra has had a major influence on early video game music.
