Shrek: Reekin' Havoc
GAME » on July 30, 2003
A sequel to the side-scrolling platformer Shrek: Hassle at the Castle, following Shrek and Fiona as they take care of various fairy tale havoc from the ghost of Lord Farquaad.

Overview

Shrek: Reekin' Havoc is a 2D comedic-fantasy side-scrolling action-platformer developed by TOSE and published by TDK Mediactive for the Game Boy Advance in North America on July 30, 2003 and in Europe on October 24, 2003.

Based on the DreamWorks CGI film series Shrek (Franchise) and a sequel to Shrek: Hassle at the Castle, Reekin' Havoc follows Shrek (Character) and Fiona sometime after the events of the first film, as they foil the plans of the ghost of Lord Farquaad (Character) (who has taken possession of several fairy tale creatures for nefarious purposes).

Keeping the brawling action and hand-drawn super-deformed art style of Hassle at the Castle, Reekin' Havoc reworks the level structure to resemble more like traditional side-scrolling platformers of the '90s and 2000's.

It is notable for being the last Shrek game published by TDK Mediactive.

Levels

Unlike the previous game, this one is split into six longer levels, all of which follow the traditional level structure of 2D platformers (with navigating the level and beating up enemies, followed by a boss fight).

  1. Bad Pinocchio (Fiona)
  2. Fairy Woods (Fiona)
  3. Sweetsville (Fiona)
  4. Beanstalk Town (Shrek)
  5. Fake Peter Pan (Shrek)
  6. The Ghost of Lord Farquaad (Fiona)
