Overview

Troopa Truck is a version of the classic 1982 arcade games Moon Patrol (Game) and Super Locomotive (Game). Here the player is driving a patrol wagon across the surface of Zon. There are obstacles and mines to lead over, ground based enemies in LasaSlamma tanks and aerial enemies in the form of missile firing HeliChargers. The aim of the game is to survive as long as possible to achieve a high score. The game's soundtrack is a chiptune cover version of Yellow Magic Orchestra's "Rydeen" (1979) composed by Yukihiro Takahashi (Person), much like Super Locomotive the previous year. This game's chiptune rendition of "Rydeen" sounds somewhat similar to the Terminator (Franchise) theme, a year before that movie released.
